Hangtags can printed using conventional or UV offset, conventional or UV screen printing or hot or cold foil blocking on paper, paperlike or plastic products.

They are used mainly for brand communication but also for giving information or maybe decorative purposes. In order to make the hangtags visually more elegant, some additional processes can be applied such as lamination, varnishing (UV or machine) or mounting (using two or more thicknesses of card). They are ready to use after cutting which can by achieved by laser, guillotine or die cutting. Hangtags are applied to garments using plain string, decorative string, ribbons or simply plastic tags.Hangtag Types; Pocket Tags: Used for brand communication on trouser type products. These are used for branding and giving information about size, length, composition, origin, model or washing instructions. Alternatively they are used purely for decorative purposes on garments .

Woven Label Types: Brand labels, care labels, pocket flag tags, composition labels and decorative labels. Woven Label Quality Types: Slit or woven edge in taffeta, satin, reverse satin or weft sateen (high definition) using polyester, rayon, acetate or cotton.

Barcodes are a system of representing numbers using vertical lines and spaces by changing the height and thickness of the bars and distance between them. The vertical lines and spaces symbolize the numbers and the barcode readers can translate these into numerical format using a computer programme . Products carry a barcode so that they can be easily identified.

The purpose of using barcode labels: It is used for identifying the product by reading the barcode using a reader connected to a computer or POS terminal. Stock records can be updated automatically whilst defining the price, producer, model, colour or size of the product. Items that can carry barcodes: Hangtags, stickers, printed fabric labels.

Barcode Types: There are many barcode conventions which vary in size and structure according to their purpose. Pvc and Plastic Labels

They are used in applications which need flexibility and strength as well as an embossed effect.

Their visual features are dominant. Some of them are produced with screen printing on PVC or plastic material and then embossed using high frequency before being cut to shape. Some of this type of label are produced with using injection moulding.

Some of them are produced together with the strings to attach the label into the garment. They are not only used for readymade garment but also for other products as promotional items..

Transfer Labels

These can be used where other types of labels cannot be used; for example on very thin fabrics which can not be easily sewn or on lingerie where normal labels would be uncomfortable for the wearer. Transfer labels are used for displaying information such as brand, size, composition of fabric, care instructions, country of origin, manifacturer. They are applied direcly onto to the fabric. In addition to that, some detailed pattern designs can be transfered onto the fabric with the same technique. The technique is based on transfering the screen or flexo printed (with water resistant inks) pattern or text onto the material with a hot presses and the use of special release chemicals. In order to get good results the fabric should be heat resistant.

Metal buttons, rivets and accessories: Although they are used for decorative reasons, their functional effect is much more important consequently they are expected to be strong and long lasting. They are generally used in attaching, buttoning or securing some stressed parts in ready made garments. In addition to this, they provide a visual contribution.

1)Metal Buttons: They are generally used on denim or other similar fabrics especially for shirts, shorts jackets and trousers. There are buttons in size of 24 mm, 22 mm, 20 mm, 17 mm, 14 mm, and
12,5 mm in various types such as fixed, flexible, double cap, with a hole, without a hole or raised . There are several coating types such as nickel, nickel free, antique oxide, copper oxide, and more.

2)Rivets: They are generally used on denim or other fabrics in order to reinforce the pocket edges or to embellish the garmen. There various types with raised centres, recessed centres and rivets with a cap.

3) Zamac Accesories: They are used for branding and for decorative reasons . They are produced with metal injection moulding technique and can be coloured with a variety of painting and coating techniques.

Digitally Printed Service

Digital printing is transfering the image from the computer directly on the paper without, as in offset printing, an extra process of producing a film or plate to make the transfer. The digital printing machines, which have been improved enormously in recent years, differ according to their purpose. There are digital printers which are more like conventional offset machines with features such as working with plates and producing tinted images in milliseconds. In addition to these, there are some other printing machines which are generally used for advertising and can print on rolls and work like a reguler printer. This feature gives opportunity to use conventional and digital printing at the same time and therefore have more effective production according to the quantity and material. Besides, digital printers have been improved recently to reduce the wastage. Therefore, small quantities , especially on stickers, can be printed much more economically.

Decal Stickers

Self Adhesive Labels: Theses types of labels are applied directly onto products. They can be either temporary or permanently adhesive.
Therefore the adhesive type should be chosen accordingly. For use on garments, the glue should be textile friendly in order to make the sticker easily removed leaving no glue stain on the garment . In some applications, it can be desired that the sticker should leave some marks after its removal. In that case, permanent stickers with very strong adhesive should be preferred .

Self Adhesive Label Types:

a) Size Stickers: These are used for identifiying the size of the ready made garment product.

b) Brand Stickers: These are applied to various places on the packaging of the product and are generally permanent and are used for promoting the brand. The stability of the material and the glue is very important.
